Significantly cooler by Easter Monday, then mostly dry next week and warmer again later
Turning much cooler on Easter Monday after a warm weekend. Showery rain is likely on Easter Sunday, retreating to the south of the UK on Monday. Next week then looks drier again, although rather cool, especially in the east. Temperatures recovering again during the week to become warmer later. The best of the sunshine in western areas.

Easter Monday 13/4/20
A significantly cooler day on Monday as high pressure drifts back into northern Scotland. Dry for most with the best sunny spells in western areas. There may be some cloud affecting southern coasts, perhaps with a few showers here. Eastern coasts feeling particularly chilly. A brisk northeast wind in central and southern England, Wales and southern Ireland. Temperatures at 9C on eastern coasts, 13C in western parts of the UK and western Ireland.
High pressure remains over eastern Scotland on Tuesday bringing a fair day for most, although an early frost. There will be some lengthy spells of sunshine for most. Bits of cloud in Scotland and Northern Ireland, best of the sunshine in central and southern England. Highs at 10 to 13C.
High pressure reamins east of the UK on Wednesday. There is likely to be some cloud over eastern coasts and hills. Best of the sunshine in western areas. Feeling cool in the breeze. Highs at 10C in the east, 15C in the west.
High pressure remains on Thursday, probably close to Scotland. Another dry day is expected with good spells of sunshine for many, although some cloud on eastern coasts. Highs at 10 to 19C.
High pressure to the east on Friday. There will be some sunny spells and it should be dry. Eastern coasts could again see some lower cloud, with the best of the sunshine in the west. Highs at 12 to 23C.
Pressure stays high into Saturday. A southeast flow brings more sunny spells, the best of them in the west. Highs at 15 to 25C.
